Our objective at MD Barrel Horses is to make sure each and every individual accomplishes the goals they have with their riding. Whether you have never been around a horse and you just want to come out and ride to say you have done it, or you want to learn how to ride to get your own horse one day, or you want to go on and compete in the discipline of your choice. Our lessons are customers tailored to meet your needs and goals.
For the beginner rider you will safely learn how to halter, lead and tie your horse properly, as well as, proper and safe grooming, saddling, mounting, dismounting, posture and positioning. You will also learn how to effectively communicate cues to the horse. We also cover the parts of the horse, equipment/tack and their correct use and proper horse care.
